Hi all,
I have been thinking of using my PS4 for playing blue Ray movie discs as I just theoritically know it can support non 4k blue ray discs. However do I need a software or it would automatically recognise the file format using an inbuilt codec? Also I have an LG CX TV - I just want to check out its Blue Ray playing brilliance. I have just used a DVD player before and the quality is similar to OTT just a bit cleaner. If I start collecting a blue Ray movie library (landmark films), will my PS4 player + lg CX combo play them all or have you guys experienced some discs not being played(especially the ones from Amazon, flipkart having multiple films in a franchise)? Pls guide me.
