First part of the journey is completed. Knowing Suresh, the second part will also be completed safely. BTW, the seller knows his components well and has cocooned it well in bubble-wrap.They are here finally, Couple of Pic's. Now it needs to take it's 5000 mile Journey..

It is your "This is your last chance!!!" that really motivated all of us. Thanks for your guidance Sir. Also, Suresh and I were on phone when he received the parcel yesterday. I told him not to touch the front part of the tweeters. I was just following the instructions from my B&W's manual. I was wondering why B&W says this "Treat you B&W loudspeakers like any other furniture, clean it with a soft cloth.....take care not to touch the tweeter". These are not exact words, but it is something in these lines. Why should we not touch a tweeter? Is it the same with all tweeters or just mine?:clapping: :clapping:
Only possible with your & Santhosh's profound help in this matter!
Helium (unfortunately away now till early March) will be mighty pleased to see them. Yes - they have to cross continents! But that shouldn't be such a problem.
@captrajesh: the seller may not reply as it may be against ebay's policy to bypass them. Contact him to re-list it as "Buy-it-now" at a price that he is expecting and buy it if it suits you.Hmm. We just bought a part of that speakers (two tweeters) for 60 GBP. Anyway, I offered INR 15k including delivery.
Hope the seller responds in affirmative:licklips:
All the best captrajesh!! Wish you join the club of Vintage B&W owners.
BTW, audio_engr, do I qualify with my 610s? In automobiles, there is classification vintage, classic etc. Is there something similar for audio equipment?
