I was looking for Yamaha yht 299 . However I have to compromise for onkyo hts 3700 . Did I made wrong decision ?
In the same price range I've auditioned Onkyo 3700(quoted for 30K), Yamaha 1810(quoted for 32K) and Denon x500 HT system(quoted for 45K). I must say that Onkyo 3700 is better when compared to the rest in terms of price n sound.
Onkyo sounded more superior to Yamaha n Denon. Also, Onkyo has got some gr8 features like bluetooth streaming on the go.. I think its a bank for the buck. Although, if you are a bass lover, I wouldn't give edge to any of these HtiBs. Its better to go for your own make. But of all I would lean towards OnkyoHow about the performance and sound quality when compared to Yamaha and Denon

Being a bass lover myself, I haven't got that "punch" of bass. Same is the case with the Yamaha 1810 and Denon x500 HT System. Even in terms of bass I would give a slight edge to Onkyo 3700. However, it is more of a personal preference. I recommend you to audition it yourself and make the commitment..So you mean to say, you won't recommend this when someone who loves bass. Is that too low...
Hi,
I hope surround sound would be good in the package. But what I dislike here is the passive sub. As people said above if you look for a detailed bass then we cannot make it with set because it doesnt have pre-out for that.
