Onkyo HT3500 + Yamaha Tall Boy Speakers

Hello Gurus,

I am planning to buy Onkyo HT3500 because of Price and quality of the product. Since they do not give Tallboy speakers along with it, I am planning to take Yamaha NS-F140 and connect as Front Speakers to Onkyo HT3500.

I know, many people would think me as mad, however I would like to know, whether any one has tried this type of combination and If I do this way, will there be any damage to any of these products.

Yamaha NS-F140 are below average speakers .... in same budget youy may gert better...

Thanks for your quick reply. May I know, which Tallboy speakers is economical and decent enough..
