Onkyo HTS-3400 - Speakers - Front B ??

Hi,
I have got new Onkyo 3400. we have total 5.1 speakers/sw. but i see there are ports for speaker i.e Front B. what is this ? and can i add extra speaker to these ports. Also i see speakers A & B button in front side of A/V receiver. Pl explain.

hi travel_living,

the A and B terminals on your receiver share the amplifier when it comes to output. Connecting one set of speaker wires to the A terminals and another to B (on A+B) is similar to connecting two sets of wires to the A terminals. You can connect extra speakers but will not get the desired output.
