epson 8100 projector is coming out to $ 1130, I have always seen its price above 1250 dollars. This product in india is about 1.4 lacs, and is sold as tw3500

epson 8500ub projector is coming out to $1896. I have NEVER seen the price of that projector below 2100 dollars. This product in india is above INR 200,000. Its called tw5500 here

however, it has a max limit for $50

the epson 8500ub is better bought with the EMPLOYEE coupon, it has $135 discount with EMPLOYEE

This is one of the better deals i ve seen in the recent past..

at $70 Only!! It still works out as a great deal if you get it delivered to India directly.. for people who do not own any of these.. close your eyes and GO FOR IT!

The better deal is to go for the 5 disc Planet earth series which is available in Amazon UK which is available for 18 GBP or 27 USD. You need to have an all region or Region B player to play it.

I am not sure if the other 3 blu rays are worth paying 43 USD but when you buy all 8 blu rays even in UK it comes to 70 USD.

I was going thro shopyourworld.com and searching for 50" 3D TV's..I do see good plasma/LCD for around 80-90K including customs..whereas in India, 3D tvs are not less than 1Lac..is it advisable to place orders for TV's from these websites?

First, you need to have a Citibank credit card. With that you register with BorderLinx upon which you will be given two addresses - one in the US and one in the UK. Once you have your address, you can start shopping and ship items to your new address. Borderlinx will notify you when they receive your items. The good things about BorderLinx are:
1. You can ship multiple items, which brings down your shipping cost per item. They will let you keep your item with them for 30 days at no extra charge. After that there is some charge. I don't know how much.
2. They provide a cost calculator, which will tell you how much it will cost you (shipping + duty + tax). I found this fairly accurate so far.
3. They also respond to your queries in a reasonably amount of time - mostly within a night.

I have done shopping with them multiple times - my most recent ones will arrive today - and quite happy with them. Now I can say they are very reliable.
