Hello,
I am new to passive speakers+amp stereo setup.

Recently got Mission LX-2 MKII speakers and paired with Aiyima A07 Pro.
The sound is quite sharp for my liking - I like sweet, warm sound signature that focuses on vocals.

1) Which op amp will be best replacement for me?
2) Where do you buy these op amps in India?
3) Aiyima A07 Pro comes with 5 op amps, do I need 5 qty of the same?

I think it may make sense to get a Marantz NR1200 or Stereo 70s which will be better as most speakers match and Marantz is known for its warm sound signature.

Your Aiyma A07 pro is a good powerful class D amp. And I believe it comes with a GAN (gallium nitride instead of silicon) based power supply You don't require op-amps to change your sound signature from bright to warm. op-amps will make subtle changes but not drastic change like changing brightness to warm. You need to tame your high frequencies. Best is to get a preamp with bass and treble control. Also your amp has tremendous output which an AVR like Marantz just cannot compete with.

Another option is to get a tube preamp to get a warm distorted signature which many prefer and like. Search in amazon and you will easily get preamps with bass and treble controls at something below 10k and this will be much cheaper than opamps like sparkos, muse, etc.

EDIT: Your amp already has a treble control. Doesn't that work? Are you keeping the treble control beyond the middle position?

Thanks for your inputs. Don't have budget for the Marantz right now. I can get pre-amp in 10k budget.

I am currently using amp with neutral tone controls. I will play with controls and see whether I can get some sweet spot for my liking. Otherwise, pre-amp would be my next best bet.

Just Reduce your treble control below the neutral position and increase the bass beyond neutral to make sound warmish.

Yes trying the same, the problem with tone controls is that - they are responding with bigger changes for very tiny change! I was aware of this when I read Audio Science Review before buying. With Mission LX-2 MKII speakers I am experiencing the same - controls are definitely sensitive.

After reducing trebles, it noticeably sounded a bit warm but the bass lost some tightness & instruments became quieter(not a lot but noticeable).
I need to keep playing with the tone controls - I'll update later here how it goes.

Update: Look how small adjustments I made, made quite noticeable difference in output! Will continue testing further. I am pleased with these settings!

Nope it doesn't come with GAN , it's same old silicon TPA3255 is the chip used.

^I meant amp chip. I've been testing with the tone controls I posted photo of in the post #7 & it's better now.
Some warmth have been added, it took away bass resonance of certain bass frequencies, trebles isn't that sharp anymore, vocals aren't thin sounding as before. Overall it sounds flatter/smoother - I am pleased now.

I'll be interested to try some op amp chips in near future.

I think he meant the Power supply, not the amp chip, from what I can understand.
Yes, I had meant the power supply. Going by the ASR reviews for these Aiyima and Fosi amps - they were provided with GAN based power supplies for testing. I mistakenly assumed that the same were being offered in retail too.
