Dear All,

Invite comments/experience from Audiolab owners / experts on the below amp.
8200P - Audiolab

What are the speakers that match well with Audiolab sound signature? Much appreciate if someone can help me for an audition of the above amplifier.
I am also following another thread if a DAC can act as a pre to a power amplifier. I am considering the below DAC as pre,
M-DAC Series audiolab

Will this combination work for a stereo setup? I have not decided on the speakers as yet. So suggestions are welcome on the speakers as well.

And finally what is the price of above products in Bangalore.

Thanks in Advance

Neither an Audiolab owner nor an expert here but the 8200 amps are apparently not as good as the CD/DAC in the same series. You would find more information on these at the Pink Fish Media forums...

Thanks Gru, I think that this the general opinion that Audiolab CD/DAC's are better,

Audiolab CDp are more preferred than amp I think.

Denom, that struck me, but I guess Kittu has let his amp go for an AVR
Ask FM Kittu, IIRC he has an old Audio Lab 8200 Amp.

Thanks again to all for the replies, the very idea of audiolab was suggested to me for under 1K GBP by a dealer in Derby. Guess I will have to explore more options.

Maybe you could open a new thread with details of your speaker, listening preferences and budget for more effective recommendations?

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
