Oppo 95/105 - India dealers?

Sinister- Where did you order the 103D from? None of the Indian dealers seem to have it

Is it region free and how much?
 
Have finally bit the bullet (:)) and confirmed Oppo 105 yesterday. Many thanks to htfan17 and John for their inputs about the ability & their experiences with these players.

Now the 1+ month lead time for delivery.. :(

Welcome to the Oppo family!!! Am sure it will be worth the wait. BTW, how much it did set you back by, and is it region free?

It was too good - kind of ticked all my needs and hence was convinced about the premium. Yes, its region free and Pm'ed the final set-back! :)

All the best in your decision making - am sure 105 would be worthy of the investment in completing your den setup!

Have recently ordered 105 from Avenue Sound (my player is being shipped from Mumbai and should hopefully reach me in 1-2 days time!).

Am happy to share that I finally got my Oppo 105 and could briefly test it. Believe me, both the SQ & PQ is awesome. I am now convinced about the premium it commands compared to other BDPs.

Avenuesound handled my order very well. Appreciate their service.:thumbsup:

However I got the shock of my life seeing the courier guy bring such an expensive equipment tied with a plastic strap on a 2-wheeler!:annoyed:. Thank god it reached me safe, what with Hyderabad traffic - I was in no mood to take any risk...I really like Flipkart delivery. They ensure to send large packages in an auto trolley. Gave this feedback to AS team and hopefully other deliveries would be taken care.
 
Congrats on the purchase Kvm !! Oppo and Avenue sound truly rock.

Hilarious to read about the courier. They clearly have no idea of the value of the item they are carrying.

No offense meant ... But you need to do a little more research and a comparison of the tech specs as well as spend time listening to it .

All good things in life come at a price. However if u feel it is a jack of all and master at none like a chinese phone. You are entitled to your opinion. Do enjoy your Pioneer BDP
and nice work pushing autonode in every other post :)

I find the rates to be good and the sweetness is enhanced because he said he will be able to provide warranty.

As of now, I am leaning towards Oppo 103D. Will keep you guys posted :ohyeah:
