Ordering LED TVs (For Kolkata buyers)

frnds, we are into real estate business and we are coming up with a five star hotel (name withheld- will only disclose if everything goes well) at kolkata, so we are ordering around 300 LED TVs for our Hotel, ordering in bulk is really helping us by cutting our cost by huge margin :yahoo: due to which I am buying the TV for myself and as well as for some of my friends relatives. If anybody in this forum (4m kolkata) is interested I can arrange the same for them as well.

The models we are ordering:

32EX520
40EX520
46EX520



The following point needs to understood:
1) The product will be covered under Sony India.
2) The TV needs to be collected from our warehouse.
3) This offer is only for Kolkata people, as shipping could be risky and I have no experience in shipping such big items.
4) The prices will be inclusive of all taxes and duties.
5) 100 % payment has to be made before hand.
6) The TV will arrive in around after 1-2 mths from the date we place the order.
7) We will be placing the order in a time of about 10-15 days.

Now I also have my questions as well

Since I am new to this forum and active only for browsing and learning from the post and thread of other members, I would like to know the following points.

1) is this allowed (well this will benefit our members only) ?
2) what are the pros and cons of doing this deal over HFV ?

will highly appreciate the valuable feedback from the members of HFV.

Nice initiative which surely benefit all and surely it can be allowed in this forum as Group buy.

But 1 to 2 months waiting period by paying 100% money upfront is not nice(worth) considering the present scenario, since the model changes and the market price change fortnightly.

We are already in July and within 2 months it will be arrival of the next model. If the delivery can be brought down to 2 to 3 weeks it should be reasonable.

yes u r right, after paying 100 % waiting for 2 months is really weird.. i m working on half the payment before and later on recieving the TV, and group buy is not necessary since we are already ordering in bulk we don't need more bulk orders.. as for the waiting period there is no way out since they have to deliver around 300 units, and the price at which i am getting these TVs every one will love to wait.
