While I am waiting for the ST60, and hence not going to buy the high price 2012 model from any website, I have to say that I have had a good experience with Indiatimes so far.
Due to a pricing error, I was able to get a Nokia mobile worth 4200 for absolutely free.
I was not expecting they would actually ship the product, but they actually did it within 10 days.
I know this is off-topic, but sometimes, it is important to share first hand positive experience. There is a lot of mis-information on the Internet.
Avoid GT50 at every cost, I've one in my living room and its nothing but trouble, It will be going back for a refund sooner or later.
It is very prone to IR(IR is not covered under warranty), mine has banding on it and screen uniformity issues. Contacted customer support very next day after purchasing and its been 6 months its still not resolved. They told me they will be giving me refund and I'm still waiting on my cheque till date. Customer support is very poor and terribly slow. From what I've heard is they won't be launching 2013 before July or near festive season and like last year not all models of plasma will be available. I'd say wait for a month or so, DONOT BUY GT50.

Thank you for honest feedback. I have read several reports of GT50 having problems, here on the forum. In comparison ST50 was much better.

Touchwood my gt50 is working fine. But I take care of preventing any possible problems. The worst I have faced is minimal image retention which is usually not visible.

The ST50 and GT50 share the same panel. GT50 has advanced electronics and features. It is surprising (but true) some GT50 owners are suffering from issues.
You'll get f8500 under 100k within a month or so which is far superior than gt50 and is flagship and latest model. GT50 is nothing but trouble. I own this TV so I know it.. You'll regret it later on..
That is provided Samsung releases 51"F8500 as their catalog mentions only 64".
Someone from Mumbai stated, its already on sale there at some Rahul electronics.. Probably they have not updated their online catalog..
No not online catalog, it was their latest printed catalog.
I can't find 51" F8500 in Bangalore. I checked with few brand shops and ezone, croma. Let me know if anyone else finds it in Bangalore.
