Panasonic dealers dont have the USB Wifi Adapter for the plasma 42V20.
they are directing to a local netgear dealer who's charging Rs.3500/- for it.
this is a rip off...when other N USB Wifi Adapter's available for 1000/- or less.

Any one has a idea on a other wifi adapter if it works ? if yes which one ?

I also have a alternate thought to buy a low cost belkin router at 1300/-
and bridge it with my existing wifi connecting the lan port to the TV, Anybody tried it yet ?

Not sure if I can post it here but any one know about the use of a generic brand web cam with V20? Or only the panasonic one goes with it?

mr google tells me that generic webcams wont work.you need to plonk down another 8-10k rs for the Panasonic TY-CC10W webcam which is the only cam compatible with v20

Hi, I remember the dealer telling me when I bought my V20..........he said any generic webcam would work. If you have one or have access to one, why not just try it, if it does work it will save you a lot of money!!!

Any idea which Wi-Fi dongle wud work with P42X30D? I am also looking for something thru which I can connect my laptop to this TV via wifi...pls help...

I use Dlink DAP 1522 for Home Theater bridge and my v20 is connected via lan to this. I can watch youtube on TV.

Ethernet is the cheapest way to go, but if wiring is an issue, then you need to buy the compatible adapter. Since these are 300N adapters, they are expensive.

Kannan,

Do we have any other cheaper way to achieve this goal? 4000 doesnt seem to be worth...

Thx

You can use another wifi router in repeater mode. You can connect all your devices like media player,HD DTH box etc to it. This was suggested by forum member BLASTO in another thread. I think he mentioned about Buffalo wifi router which costs less than 2K.

Made ur job easier
