The reality is that the TVs manufactured nowadays are not of that great built quality and so warranty plays an important role.
Make up your mind about the size, features, connectivity options, your requirements and demo all possible brands which carry the best warranty. Sharp and Toshiba offer 3 years which is good value for money.
