Panasonic 50XT50 Deal. Help

instead paying for 49500 for 42XT50D people get 50XT50 without any freebies.I am also looking for good offers not getting it, got one offer @ 47k with freebies.well if i get a 50 without any freebies is great offer,as i am not interested in 3d glasses and printer.

Dudes.. looks like I am going to forget about IR/Burn-in/Over-power and just enjoy the 50".

I checked the TV in Metro, Hyderabad.

They state 69.9k, with discount, 59.9k, additional 4k if we do not need that printer.

How do I get it for 50k? Is there some magic to weave

James, they haven't displayed 50XT50 price as Rs. 49,999 but as Rs. 59,999 however if you are interested to buy it then contact Devendra over there so they can reduce the price to 50k.

Well normally metro card members are allowed,whether non members can buy? and i think it should be all across metro shops regarding the price,any member in hyderabad who got this deal and who is a member in metro,i like to go for it.

Are glasses included as part of the deal? 3D glasses were not included in Metro, Bangalore deal. If glasses are included, then it is a great deal. If not, then it is slightly expensive but not very bad.

Done deal

Fell in love yeterday. Researched yesterday. Went in today.

Only hunch was that audio was very very low in the demo unit. My uncle was pretty hesitant.

I just took it. Need to connect to my sony theater some day which is connected to projector.

Metro will deliver tomorrow and i will test drive it.

What is your feedbackon sound

regarding the sound thing:

Why is there no sound coming from this TV?

1. Make sure the volume is up and MUTE is off.
2. Confirm the TV speakers are set to ON by pressing [MENU] on the TV's remote control and selecting AUDIO --> Advanced audio.
3. Check that the correct SAP (Secondary Audio Program) is selected by pressing the [SAP] button on the TV's remote control.
4. If the TV is connected to a Home Theater then check the connection, confirm that the audio system is on and the correct input is selected on the audio system

It was giving out sound while playing from usb but not from HD cable.. IT was a demo piece. Sound was very very low.

Anyway, I will get the delivery tomorrow. Will play with in the next fw days - my weekdays are too hectic - however will tkae out sometime for this hopefully.

Loving every bit of it. Not sure about the first 200 hrs.. I am just watching and changing the aspect once a while to avoid burn out.

It plays only mp4 and no avi pr divx, no subtitles on mp4 etc. Other than that, pretty happy until now.

I was able to play avi and dvix very well on my st50 and as far as I know the file playback and format compatibility is the same in the two models. Try firmware update.

You should read more posts and search a little more. Firmware update can be done by connecting TV to the network.

dont worry that much about update.you can live happily ever after without a update.
first 200 hours is recomended for burn in process.
just keep all under say 40 and cell lights also.keep pixel shift on....and while watching theatre aspect ratio just zoom once in every hour say.....
