Panasonic 55ET5D or 55WT50??

Did you look and compare dt and wt?
Simply put, wt awarded 4 star. Dt awarded 5 star.
Should we compromise on quality for the sake of 5 inch more?
DT and WT Is kept side by side on Devi International.
Played hd Colors tv serial at least to find the quality difference in up scaled contents...could not make any difference.
Cnet did not give proper review on wt and DT
But hd guru and other guys gave good ratings

Just checked with my sales guy.
As of now, Panasonic Central inventory did not any 55WT50 in Stock.
Only deckenson road store have that with them. But quoting 1.40.
if we give reference of my deal, we can get the same 1.15.

Finally, after a month, i could find some time to update my personal experience using 55WT50 - Panasonic Flagship LED TV
Almost all the reviews on 55WT50 pointed one thing, having the hefty price tag, TV did not have deep Black Level performance compared to its competitors in its price range(MRP 2,73,000Rs).. when you keep the LOCAL DIMMING feature OFF.
After too much of goggling, I went ahead with this purchase for below reasons:
1. Since, Local Dimming is already available on this TV(that too screen size is divided into 16 blocks and black is controlled locally), why would you want to switch if OFF?? i always keep it ON.. and results Excellent BLACK Levels on HD Channels PQ.
2. Excellent 3D.
3. On Offer, bought this TV for almost half the price on MRP.
I'm very much happy with the purchase.
Excellent features:
3D Picture experience is impressive
I tested the 2D picture for a month using all of my video sources particularly 700mb downloaded movies are played very well.. It's exceptional--crisp, clear, and beautiful.
SMART is great, swipe and share is very easy to use.
Activated Videocon D2H, Now watching only HD Channels Yep after watching HD cannot go back to SD Channel.. May be my eyes got used to HD Now.
SMART Features:
We can configure the SMART Home screen, what all apps should sit in the front page. Which on SMART Home screen, when selecting the apps, whatever is currently playing on the TV will still be playing in a small window in the middle - Good One here.
Swipe and Share - No question, this is excellent.
This TV is powered by Dual Core, so there is not much lag when doing swipe and share media contents from mobile phones.
when we have opened Two apps, switching between the apps is very clean

I think, i have to improve my picture settings here to get proper shadow details rt? im fine with Black here but feel some how the shadow details are lost.
on Normal mode, this is the setting.. copied from my friend LED TV
Coming to the number of HDMI/USB Ports -> this TV is provided with 4 HDMI and 3 USB Ports,, good i can always keep my wireless Keyboard connected for smart features.
When playing HD Contents,
I Like the lamp shadow on the wall shown very nicely.
Panasonic Logo in the bottom of the frame is LED Illuminated
Please let me know, if you have any standard screen setting to improve the PQ on screen... Planning for TV Calibration, waiting for someone who will land Bangalore only on 16th.

, SD channels look pre-historic great that you have videocon DTH, tatasky has less HD channel
which keyboard you are using with this TV?

mine is Microsoft ARC wifi keyboad

BTW, i have boxed the touch pad remote and kept it inside--> Not at all using.
Better is to install Panasonic Remote app from Apple APP STORE OR Google play store.
This Mobile app has something to keep the screen on hold(but u can still hear the audio processing behind the screen) Just that the screen image shown at that particular moment can be freezed..
.its nice one.
But i could not locate such button in my remote..
Even i was planning to buy sony S5100 from US.. my friend who was supposed to get me the blu ray dropped his US Trip..though official...
Now checking for ppl to get it from US..

mine viera remote is also is in same state, sealed-packed.
Additionally I have mapped frequently used buttons of main TV-remote like power, volume, etc, to Tatasky's remote and that too is under minimal usage.
Not tried the viera app yet, but will do it sometime.
