Panasonic BDT 220, some movies are stuck when played from HDD

Hi HFVians,

Using my Panasonic BDT 220 as a media player too, some movies are stuck when played from hard disc drive. It doesn't move further than the initial logo animation of the film company.

I am not able to find a pattern but out of the 100 at least 10 don't play. Any reasons and work around?

run the movie through mkvmerge, not all but a lot of movies get fixed this way. only takes a few mins. if that doesnt work, you can reencode using handbrake.

Thanks, Yes, have tried mkvmerge and some gets fixed. I have to try the other one you mentioned.
