Hi
Is there anybody out there who's bought a Panny 1080p display of 50" or above? I've seen an ad on AV max for their TH-58"PF20U model and 12W which, from what I learnt from the net, is more expensive. In Cochin they dont have this model or any other larger than the 50". Called up their contact guy in Bangalore and he gave the price for the 65"PF20U as Rs.3.7L but apparently couldnt help with the 58" model which I guess should be much cheaper. There's absolutely no comparison between the Indian prices and the $rate on the net which is half.

I keep reading on HFV of people who got hold of goodies either as group buys or offers. Could any users/researchers help with facts regarding the quality & price of a Full HD Panny display above 50"? btw I'm looking for just a display coz this is for a home theatre and there'll be external speakers.
Thanks

Panny 50"v20 was quoted to me at 1L, I didn't feel the diff was worth it hence I settled for 42v20d @59k, The street prices are always different than net prices, only exceptionally sometimes u might see it better.

Panasonic showroom like Sony worlds usually stick to or near MRP.

Panny has announced 2011 models which may not be available in store, and dealers usually liquidate the stocks before new models arrive, might explain why cochin dealers don't have it yet, but they should be able to g it on demand.

my frnd has 50v20.i went with him when we made the final decision.when we compare it 55" led sony and 46 " samsung 5 dseries, u can clearly see panny is the winner .
i am turnout to be big fan of pany
