This is my first thread on the forum.

I am on the lookout of 2.1 speakers for my computer and later to be used with a LED TV.

Budget is upto 5K and can extend if needed.

I came across this 2.1 speakers from Panasonic, HT 20

SC-HT20 Speakers - Panasonic India

Since i'm going to use this for a TV, the IR remote that was provided on this will be very useful.

Did not see any reviews on this (good or bad!). Suggestions are greatly appreciated.

The other options that i had in mind are:
1. Sony SRS D9
2. Logitech Z623
3. Swans M10

I have never been a fan of Sony and from the reviews i see that people prefer this more for the brand than SQ. Logitech has mixed reviews, some say it is boomy, bad in treble. Other just love it. Came to know about Swans M10. I an not an audiophile by any means, but i do appreciate a nice sounding system.

The usage will be 60% music and 40% movies. And i prefer systems available from Croma retail (have a bunch of vouchers, the purchase will be practically free :) )

I can vouch for the Panasonic 2.1 speaker set. Super value for money set. My father in law has been using it with tata sky connection and they sound great. They look great too.

Initially they were connected via RCA from the set top box, however, later connecting them via RCA from the TV Out, the sound improved tremendously. The Sony set is also good, however, you need to check how it would look along with your Tv in the drawing room(always felt they are better suited to a work-desk scenario). I have no idea about the Swans, do audition all the setups and take a call.
