Panasonic ST50 or Samsung PS51E550D1R

Hi All,

This is my first post and i'm quite excited to be finally associated with a media forum (that i've been searching to join from a long time).
Thanks for this forum to all the mods and everyone living here..

Coming to the point.
I recently decided to go pick up a Plasma and narrowed down to 2 models.

1.) Panasonic TC-PST50
2.) Samsung PS51E550D1R

... I heard a lot about Panasonic's plasmas being the best out there but reading some of the specs on the above mentioned Samsung TV made me start a comparison between them .

I'm looking to buy the 50" screen , to be very frank I dont know much about chosing a TV..
Any help would be deeply appreciated.

PS :: Any other models that you recommened , please do so.
My budget is 1L (max)

ST 50 is a great tv but out of stock at most places.

My vote will be also ST50. The question is whether there will be any stock.

I have seen E550. It appeared to be prone to too much of reflections. PQ wise it is good but ofcourse no match for ST50.
I am little surprised that sammy E8000 is not in the list.
