Hi all,

Anyone has feedback on Panasonic TH-65C300DX LED model. I am looking for a 65 inch TV and the usage is for Sports HD channels/ movies HD and downloaded HD content. My budget was around 1.5L.

Not looking for 4k due to lack of content or 3D.

Is TH-65C300DX a good fit? i am getting quote for 1.3L with 3 year warranty, but there is no demo unit i could find. Any suggestions?!

I have 50C300DX. hopefully, except for the size, the rest of the features remain the same. I was looking for something decent for less money(48CS would have been the other option, but it was 12K higher). This fit the bill. The picture quality is OK. Worse than my earlier Samsung Plasma... But then, that was expected. It doesn't have any smart features (I made it smart using a Pi). HD channels look good. SD channels looked OK. Sound is sufficient to fill my room at 14ft distance.

BTW, i was told that I can get 65C300DX for ~1L during the Onam season in Kerala.

This product is selling at 119,990 at Shopclues, in case anyone is interested. However, I've heard that reputation of Shopclues is dodgy. So, do some research on the seller before you purchase. Infibeam is selling it at 130,555. Remember, the panel is IPS. Great viewing angles but poor blacks.

BTW, 65CX400D (65" 4K) is selling at 2.09 lakhs at Amazon. Haven't done much research on this TV though. LG is selling Colorplus 2016 Model (8500) 65" TVs at ~US$ 3,000. It is the model with HDR support (please don't confuse it with HDR compatible models (which won't display HDR features but will run content that have HDR embedded). Last year's US$ INR multiplying factor was 85-90 I guess. This year, maybe 100. So, INR 3 lakhs for that TV in India (I'm guessing). 7700 was the cheapest model that I found that had Colorplus. 7500 and below are HDR Compatible. Writing these things from memory. So please do your own research.

Did you find anything interesting.. I am in the same boat.

Came across this ad in OLX. Have you checked it out? From the pictures, looks like sealed boxes, selling for 50,000/-Panasonic TH55300DX - Bengaluru - TV - Video - Audio

It sells for around 1.07 at amazon. Any views or reviews in regards to this set?
I am having this TV since last about three months.
If you are looking for a feature-rich smart TV, forget this model. This is a no frills basic TV missing even HDMI control, although it has sufficient numbers of HDMI, USB, capable of playing varied media and AV inputs. The processor is quite slow so it reminds the warm-up time of a CRT TV.
But if your priority is a stunning picture quality on a big screen at very attractive price, do not give a second thought. Contrast, skin tone, brightness, and color are very impressive. Neither of the pictures presets were satisfactory because of over warmness of colors, so I had to tune the same to my taste.
Sound quality is not worth any complaint however I never depend on TV sound for TV viewing. But if you do, the sound quality is good as per flat TVs standard.
If you are ready to compensate some of it's missing feature with a network ready media/Blu-ray player, there is no harm in possessing this TV.

Thank you for sharing your opinions on the tele, my priority is definitely PQ on HD and SD channels and secondarily I would be wanting to connect my XBox One to play FIFA, which is not the most graphic intensive or fast paced game, I would like to know if any lag is experienced while gaming.

Smart features is definitely one of the least of my priorities, I have a couple of plasmas from the last decade with embedded "smartness" :P so that doesnt worry me much.

Have you by any chance posted or read a review with pictures of the setup? If not would you mind posting some pictures of your setup with both SD and HD channels, Thanks.
