Panasonic v/s Rest of the World

Hi Guys,

I have been going thru LED demos recently for my purchase. What I have come across is Panasonic displays more true colors than the other LEDs from Sony, Samsung or LG. The skin colors appear more skinny on Panasonic and I find them more reddish on other LEDs......
Any views here or recommended readings available for buying the LED?

Second your view. Had gone through the grind last year and after efforts of going up and down and trying to prove myself wrong that Panasonic offers the best option (obviously influenced by ad spends of other competitors), settled for Panasonic in last April and have not regretted the decision even once. Quality of product, servicing (required as I shifted my base from one city to another) and support (post purchase installation etc) was really awesome. Learned my lesson that if you like it, buy it. More reviews, views and counter views will just muddy the process :)

Funny thing with me. I have the Panasonic E42ET60D (bought some months ago) and a friend has a Phillips 42. I find PQ of Phillips better than my Panny!

Thanks ruchirinamdar for making the decision making process simple [emoji6]

My experience too. No matter what I do on my Samsung, the colors are still not natural. They are either warm, or they shift from their actual hue.

May be i am wrong and so are the measurement, may be you do actually with your naked eye can absolutely tell when colors look natural and when they don't,i am going to post a few properly calibrated screens from different brands of television and let you decide which is more natural.

royalanalog, buddy why do you want to spend so much money on a TV. Just buy any TV. Like experts on Internet say, they all look the same after calibration :yahoo:

If users would buy every TV being discussed here, our houses would be full of TVs  .

I was only discussing about that Sony model and was never interested to buy it. It's wiser to go for AV products that cost less but are high on quality. Brands that make such products include Panasonic, SHARP, Philips, LG etc

Don't know about other series, but yes, the 6000, 7000 & 8000 series TVs of PHILIPS are amazing because of the award winning 'Pixel Perfect' technology. Sadly, Philips never draws attention the way Samsung or Sony do .
