Panasonic Viera LED TV feedback

Hi All

I own a Panasonic Plasma 42V20D and the picture quality is excellent. Now looking to buy a new TV.

Wanted to get feedback on Panasonic A410 Series LED TVs and how do they compare to Samsung Series 5 LED.

Didn't find a lot of review for VIERA LED TVs.

A410 PQ is good, Also check AS670 if u need 3D. Panasonic is offering 1+1 warranty and few gifts for these models till 18th August.

3D is not a requirement. So, I presume that the PQ of A410 is comparable to that of Samsung if not better. Also heard that Viera LEDs are made in China and they dont have the same build quality as the Plasmas.

Not sure where these panels are manufactured but with all the demo i had in the last few days i found Panasonic LED and LG LB6500 PQ better than Samsung 6 series LED. May be it's due to the fact both these brands had IPS panels.

IMO the as 410d is a no nonsense LED tv from panasonic with brilliant PQ.in my 2 months of usage i have come to realise that this TV is basically designed for people like me who want a 50incher without any usual smart or 3d features for simple TV viewing pleasure nad AFAIK it is cheaper than its rivals be it LG or samsung.

PQ is good I am using Et50d and it was in lieu of Panasonic St50.

Awesome PQ - including 3D.

I am selling 42ET50 d as want to buy a plasma before Samsung closes the productions. Also need a big TV > 50 inches.

Agree with that. I've had a Panasonic 46" Plasma for 3 years. Just bought the Panasonic 50" AS610D LED last month. It has a super bright IPS panel and has great PQ but nowhere close to the 3 year old Plasma.

Personally, I prefer the PQ of my old Panasonic Plasma to the LED. The LED has a very bright and sharp image but appears artificial whereas the Plasma is more natural.

Don't get me wrong - the 610D LED is really good, better than most other LED's I saw. Panasonic doesn't make Plasma's anymore hence the decision to switch to a LED.

75k from Jumbo ... The dealer threw in a pair of Sennheiser HD419 over the year headphones MRP 3,499 (2.5k street price) with it. Have a servo stabiliser installed on the mains so no need for a local stabiliser.
