Panny V20D imported or indian

Should I get imported V20D from Thailand or resort to Indian version.

Imported - Rs 54,000
Indian - Rs 64,000

Recos pls with reasons..thanks

Definitely Indian as there is not much saving . People have purchased in India for a low price of 60K ....

^^also, consider the fact that Panasonic India provides 3 years warranty.So, definitely go for the Indian version unless u can get it Imported for say, under or close to 40K.

You will easily get it in India for anywhere between 57k to 60k depending on the state with the 3 year warranty thrown in.....

I wont suggest the import route cuz when u land in India you will be required to fork up the custom duty on any TV 40 inches and above or anything worth more than 25k inr.... these days the custom chaps even have a Indian pricelist with them of most models

I will go with the forum opinion. At 54k (assuming total landed cost including transport and customs), no warranty, it is not very attractive.

I bought it for 60k from Croma last week. With 3 year warranty and free wall mounting

Price difference is negligible if you are looking at that. Moreover the pain in carrying it on a flight and the customs.

Equipment anyways made in Thailand.
