Hi ,

if the amp is biased around 150mA then no need for active cooling, if he is biasing it around 270-300mA then v5 is a pure room heater.

With adequate heatsinking v5 can be run as a pure class-A "directly heated tubeless amplifier".

Congratulations and amazing looking kits. The heat sinks are as big as the amp and that is adding to the uniqueness !!
