Philips 29PFL5937 vs 29PFL4738. Please help decide.

Hi all,

I was looking at buying a 29 inch LED for the bedroom. Had gone to eZone and had a look at some models. Finally narrowed down to 2 models both Philips

1) Philips 29PFL5937 - Rs. 19990/-
2) Philips 29PFL4738 - Rs. 17450/-

Did not see much difference between the two except for the 1 inch in the screen size. Was wondering if anybody here has used any one of these TV's and could assist me with which one would be better.

There are very few models on display for this class. I had gone to Reliance Digital, Vijay sales and finally eZone. Reliance Digital and Vijay sales had only a couple of 29 inchers which were not very pleasing to look at. Finally at eZone found the above 2 along with Samsung 28F4100 but the colors on the Samsung one were too muted for my taste.

Would appreciate any guidance. Thanks in advance

Go for the 5937 which has pixel plus HD processing engine.It gives a better PQ.Otherwise not much difference between these two.I'm using a pixel plus processing TV.The pq and clarity is excellent

Thanks for your input. Booked the 5937 before I could see your reply. Glad to read that I took the right choice. I had the store people play Man of Steel trailer and the picture quality was definitely better on the 5973. I actually felt that the colors were more pronounced and better looking on this one than some 32 inch ones I was looking at.

Will get delivery only day after. So waiting with bated breath and hoping that it looks as good at home as it was looking in the store.
