Hello can any one have confirm phillips bdp5200 have internet browser like google search feature? reliance digital dont have internet thats y need know. in Sony 380 dont have this feature.

LG 550 is a very gud BD player....I auditioned it few days back... Very much recommended.. ...Reasons for this ...
1.It supports NTFS formatted USB Drives..
2. Plays all the HD formats like mkv, .ts , and has Pass thru for DTS MA also..

i have read lots of review for lg 550..it seems to be a good player.but can anyone plz gv feedback for panasonic blu ray players.please suggest good 3d blu ray player.

Removed my post as it was for BD3200. Apologize to whosoever it caused inconvenience.

Current price on all sites and places is around 10K and above. I too saw it at reliance and saw its a good buy at this price? I have played through HDD and all file formats are supported. It can also play 3D which is a certain plus at this price point. I read the review here before buying
Philips BDP5200 3D Blu-Ray Player Review
You can see that it supports internet video playback
Since i am not that much into details about audio formats etc, cannot comment on things like DTS pass through. I played discs with DTS and also blu ray rips, the audio is decent. Certainly VFM but not for those who demand the best from a player.
Another good player is the Sony BDP-S380 which is now 6K. However for an extra 1K you get 3d and playback of almost ALL files through USB plus in built Wi-Fi.
Vikram- seeing these prices for a new player you may want to reconsider your price? If its around 3K, please PM me

Hi, even I am looking for information on the same.
Please don't consider this player if your amp cannot decode Dolby true HD/' DTS HD audio. Also note that there is no optical out for audio. Only S/PIDF audio out.

Ok, when u say AVCHD its either H.264/MPEG4 (AVC) Compression formats so most of the latest players in the market do play those. The only challenge you might find is when looking for audio video jacks(yellow/white/red) i.e. RCA out because most of the new players will come with only HDMI out. The only solution to overcome this is to get a HDMI Male to 3 RCA Audio Video AV Component Cable. You can easily buy one from ebay/local stores.

1.5M HDMI Male to 3 RCA Audio Video AV Component Cable Adapter Gold Plated

I see your located in New Delhi. Saw this adv on OLX, this guy is selling boxpiece Philips BDP2385 @ 7k well within your budget, i think its best buy as it has in-built wifi too :licklips:

Hope this helps, njoy

Binu
