India gets it before the world :D

Finally received LOST on Blu-ray. A much awaited series on my list.
The carton was completely damaged when I received the package but when I opened it, only the LOST box was torn from some places.
So had to fix some tape on the sides of the box. The Blu-ray boxes and the discs were fine.

There are 36 Blu-ray discs housed well in 6 boxes. The first three boxes have 7 each of them and the rest 3 have 5 each of them.
This is going to take a hell lot of time to complete. Now only waiting to start.

I think that amazon should improve their packaging for bulky/bigger items so that, they are un-damaged in transit.

Below are the images...

technobhatt, what an amazing haul. Every movie is a must have.

That Tarantino collection is awesome, I regret buying Kill Bill box set... I could have gone for this collection.
Now I have to depend on individual titles.

the artwork in the tarantino boxset looks amazing! would've loved to get it if i didn't already have most of the movies :)

just got back from a vacation in new york and san francisco. needless to say, my arms hurt from all the music and movies i've carted back home! here's a quick run through:

Thanks Saket! Even I had 'Pulp Fiction' earlier; however after doing the calculation for remaining Tarantino titles; this set costed much cheaper (44 GBP including shipping). And this set has 2 Bonus discs as well, having lot of never seen content.

In addition, I saw your earlier post on the movie 'Tora Tora Tora'. To be honest I was not at all aware of this great movie. All I knew was about 'Pearl Harbor' movie. But after seeing your post and details on Bluray transfer of this movie; I read a lot about the movie and bought the 'Extended Japanese Edition' from Amazon UK :-)

That's a great collection "coaltrain". You must have got 'train-full' collection by now ;-)
All I would do now is....look at each of the movie on your collection, read about them and if I'm impressed...I'm gonna take the plunge to buy and watch them in future :)

not a train, techno. just a bogey, perhaps :)
i'm sure you're already aware of most of the films i've picked up. some, like magic, bound, army of shadows, etc, are a bit obscure. please feel free to ask me to elaborate if you find something you think you might like.

Oh!! great and awesome buys. Looks like your tour was a successful one with lot of goodies back home.

As, techno said, I would love to read about them and dive in especially the Criterion movies and a few of them which I would love to add in my collection.
