That's one great box set and a must have for one's collection. Very nice transfer of the video compared to the dvd. Nothing much to say about the audio though, as the surrounds are kept at rest most of the time, probably because more of vocals I guess.

It is very nice and tempting. The thing is I have the movies on DVD. I do not find a compelling reason to reinvest in BD for the same set.

I already have Spider-man 3 (2 disc edition).
If I buy Spider-man 1 & 2 separately it would work out very expensive as the shipping would be charged for 2 separate units (2 x GBP 3.58) and thus total will be GBP 21.30 which is about INR 1875.
Now, definitely it makes sense to buy the box set and get it for INR 1000 approx, which feels like a steal. Moreover the spider-man 3 in box set contains only 1 disc which looks like it would be the stripped down version. I'm wondering if the extras are crammed in the same disc or left off.

Well, the box sets (alien, godfather, bourne, matrix) and about 2 singles were bought last year when amazon was giving free shipping. The rest I have taken in the past 1 month or so.
There is a sale in almost all the stores here in Bangalore, so picked up some of them for 500-600 each and some of them from amazon like harry potter collection.

Disney titles are cheaper here locally. But for others amazon UK... That's the biggest culprit here. There's just huge price difference, and really list never gets ended.
Nolan bhai sahab (Thanks to Nolan Collection) is covered almost. Only Prestige and Memento is left. Well Memento was there in the Boxset I ordered, but It's Region A locked.
Almost all boxsets are on to-buy list.

pinochio is also 2 disc and region b great deal if u have region free or b player , disney has stopped making 2 disc set.
it is mentioned in rhythm house for indian blus region i trust them more than flipkart
