Pioneer BDP-160K

Mumbai, region c. Though am told it can be made region free at an extra cost. Will post about it once i get more info on it.

Any user feedback on this Pioneer BDP-160 model and price in bangalore?
I do not see this listed in pioneer website.

How is it in comparison to Pana 220/230 in 2D and 3D PQ.?

Will check in grey market (National market) too.
Some of the ebay sellers are new and warranty is only seller warranty for 6 months.

All the above are good models.
 
Some clarification needed on this model.
I am seing the imported "Region A" BDP-160 for Rs.8900 online with 6 months seller warranty. It is mentioned as 220V
When I have checked the official indian model price in Bangalore it is Rs.11,900.

I play Bluerays and DVDs purchased from india (amazon.in/flipkart) only and most of these are specified as "All Region". My understanding is that I will be able to play these Blurays in Region A BDP-160.
Is this safe to buy if my usage is like above as the price looks reasonable?

A region A BDP having 220V would be imported from South East Asia probably Malaysia or Thailand.
Call and check with the seller.
I believe it should be ok. I am using a similarly speced Pioneer BDP bought from eBay.in.

Blu-ray regions.

Hope it is playing indian DVDs too ( region 5) ?
I am eagerly waiting for the item from ebay.in
