Sorry to start a new thread, but no one seems to have noticed my post in the X20 owner's thread where I questioned about the pixel shifter feature, or its lack thereof on the X20. In models by Samsung and LG, there seems to be a pixel shifter (or pixel orbiter or by whatever name it's called) which can be accessed via the menu. Now in case anyone still thinks this is a flashing disco light function, read here that this is one of the most important features that prevent burn-in. This function cannot be accessed via the user menu on the X20. There is no mention made on the manual about any such function. There is mention made about "side panel" which is recommended that it be set to "high" to prevent IR. Now does anyone know for a certainty if this is the pixel shifting feature?

Next question is to V20 owners. Is there a pixel shifter function that can be accessed via the TVs menu?

There is no pixel shifter option on my V20 absolutely sure about that, from what i have read the new panels from Panny dont need this fucntion as the quality of phospur used is different and is less prone to IR.

The panels used in x20 are g13 type which has very less or no IR, even the ones which do show IR after being deliberatly put through for test under extreme conditions was only temporary, So chillax and enjoy your set... ;)
