Planning to buy 5.1 channel HT

Hello friends,
Please friends sort me out. I'm planning to buy a home theatre.
As it will be my first investment, I just expect satisfaction.
My usage is as follows 70% music, 20% gaming, 10%movies.
I have short listed these two items
1. Yamaha YHT 196
2. Onkyo HT-S3500.
Which HT should I go for?

Again if there are any new HTIB in market please suggest me.
My budget is 25k, I know it's less but is adequate i guess.

Hi,

With the budget you have in hand, you will get the models mentioned by you unless you are open to purchasing pre owned stuff where you can get really good stuff @ reasonable rates.

Problem with HTiB setup is that soon people start feeling dissatisfied and look for upgrades.
Good idea is to wait and increase budget if possible and get a decent setup.

LOl! It's true. I usually suggest people to go for stereo setup and add on the rest as time/budget allows. Also HTiB's receiver's are configured for the speakers they come with and replacing especially the Fronts becomes problematic, with mismatch in ohms/watts what not.
