I am planning to buy AVR and speakers. budget 24k to 28k. at this range which one is good for music 50% and movies 50%

Look for home theater packages (A.K.A. HTiB) from Yamaha,Pioneer that will come with AVR and 5.1 speakers and prices starting from around 25K. These HTiBs could be found in Consumer retail stores like Croma and Reliance digital where you can experience a demo as well.

You need to audition and decide...carry your music and test

What efernand1 said. Carry cd's or thumb drive. Reliance digital has both listed on
their website. Maybe you can audition them over there.
