Hi Team;

I am new to this community and need some expert advise from this forum.
Its very funny to also mention that I am new to this HT and therefore have a very little knowledge about it.

I did some research and looked for following products: -

1. Sony DZ series ------- Did not like it; it was just that they increase the sound and you feel good... but when saw some professional HT .... got crazy
2. Philips ------- Did not like it again...
3. Heard about ONKYO ----- but no idea.
4. Saw Yamaha YHT 196 / 299 / 2910 ---- but dont know what is the difference...
5. Saw denon but not able to differentiate which will be good and will fit my budget..

My budget is 40 - 50K ... I want the best.... i know sounds crazy... but if there is any good information that you can share will be great.....

Really interested in a very good setup. You need to buy in steps. 40-50k is not bad at all. You can buy the ba soundware xs + marantz nr1504 for around 50k. Also you can go for bookshelves and subwoofer then buy the center and finally surrounds. This way you will get a more better setup. Note that the fronts and center should be matched i.e of the same brand and series. For instance. If you are going for polk audio tsx series bookshelves then even the center should be of the tsx series only. You need a basic avr to connect these to. Mention more about your room dimensions and movies:music listening ratio. Also do read previous posts on the forum. It will make you familiar with the terms and give you a basic idea of what things to look at

Check out Profx they were having some really good package deal with Pioneer amps, I am sure he will be able to put it with Yamaha or Denon also. You can hear the demo also and decide. Profx at Phoenix mall. You can ask Ketan over there, he is a good guy and can suggest you the best in your budget.
