Go for it only if you are into dre's genre of music or else not worth it...for that money skull candy's snoopy d's head phone should do the bass

You could also look at similarly priced products from Sennheiser. Please check Amazon.com for various reviews on the product that you are looking at. You will most probably find comparisions with the Senns there.

I have one of these. Simply amazing. But its not the Solo HD Edition. I picked mine in Ireland for a good deal.
