Quite a lot of portable players (mobile phones, music players viz. Sansa), etc. rely on the antenna of the headphone for radio reception. The radio does not work when the headphones are disconnected. How does one use these player's headphone out for listening to FM on external speakers?
I purchased a Sansa Clip+ because of it's FM radio so that I can hook it up with my Topping TP20 and listen to FM on my el cheapo speakers. But whenever I use the stereo out to the amp, the radio stops working. Even with the Topping at full volume I can barely hear the radio. But if I connect the headphones and listen to it directly, everything works as it's supposed to be. Any solution for this?
