Power Button Issues on Tata Sky Hd

Hi Guys
Anyone experiencing issues with power button on tata sky HD.
you have to press the power button on the remote several times before the light turns green.


Is it a Box issue or a firmware problem?
BTW very annyoing

Atleast on TS+HD its a known issue. Seems this BUG is passed through the recent firmware upgrade to TS HD as well.

Even after the power is on, at times, for several minutes, we need to press buttons several times for the STB to recognize the key press. I have reported this issue to TS escalation team and they have acknowledged it to be a firmware issue.

For intermittent remote responsiveness issue, they replaced the remote once and were insisting on replacing the STB as well which I declined as that may have wasted that otherwise good STB and my recordings I have asked them to escalate these issues to their development and remote manufacturers instead as I do not see this as an isolated issue.

You should also complain from your end for them to take the issue seriously as otherwise I have seen them sitting on top of these issues forever. They will ACT only when a significant number of users complain about these and escalate repeatedly till they resolve such issues.

Despite these open issues, they sent another email yesterday stating as per the feedback from the Service Team, my issue is resolved. This is what they did when they were unable to resolve Audio issues like DRC, PSEUDO 5.1, jitters, drops, spikes trying to disguise that there is no such issue.
