Pre amp for 3.5 mm jack?

Hey,

I recently bought a Rode Videomic and its really great and everything but I do not want to rely on my Zi8's audio amp since its not exactly designed for pro audio. So I was wondering if I can find a "cheap" pre amp for the purpose. I did find one for XLR in an audio shop nearby. It was around Rs 700 and it had XLR slots, usb interconnection.. 3 output jacks. etc. Can anyone tell me where can i find something like that for 3.5 mm jack. And please dont suggest beachtek adapters or M audio ones' they are way outta my budget.
