Hi,
The LG wireless media kit (AN-WL100W) is on huge sell in US ($30-50). So I grabbed one to use it with LG 42LW6500.
The manual for the TV mentions it supports this accessory as well as there is wireless controller port on the back of the TV. But this combination is not working.
The wireless pairing is fails on normal start-up and works only when I disconnect and reconnect the dongle while TV to kit is powered on. Even after connection the TV doesn't show kit input in its input list and all the lights on kit are on. If I keep tapping the correct input while powering the kit, that particular input works but again no support from TV. Turning off the TV doesn't turn off the unit.
Now my questions are:
1. Did anyone managed to get working successfully?
2. I suspect the connector cable could be faulty but its propitiatory 20-pin cable. Any idea where I can buy one?
3. Will LG India support it, if I call the customer care?
