Projector for home theater

Is there a big difference between 720 p and 1080 p in projectors
i want to buy Viewsonic pro8200 1080p from USA. Or a 720 P from same brand.

Any recommendations ? This is for movie watching

1080p will definitely be much better. There will be huge difference especially bacause the projected image will be big. If you have the budget, go for it.

It depends on the viewing distance and the sorce. Short distance of 12-14 ft doesn't make much difference between 720 and 1080. In order to be future proof go for the highest resolution fitting your budget.

1080p if budget permits and going to watch mostly Bluray discs.
