All:

I am almost finalized on the projector as Epson TW8200, for my dedicated HT room.
Civil work is done for the room, and I am about to start the interiors. Re the projector mount - can anyone suggest a good ceiling mount ?

I assume I need to install the ceiling mount prior to doing the false ceiling, so need to get the position of the mount finalized.

Pls let me know if my thinking is incorrect.

Also - Is it a disadvantage to keep the projector at the rear end (on a stand), as opposed to a ceiling mount ?
Rear End Stand will give me some flexibility as my ceiling is a bit low (8 ft 2 inches).

Throw distance calculator tells me I can go far back as much as 25 feet, to get a 120 inch diagonal image..

Why don't you consider building a shelf on the opposite wall? Me an one of my friends are thinking about this for our PJs.

My 8100 on the wall. Projection distance around 16 feet.
