Hi Friends,
I have been using PS51D550 plasma tv for almost 11 months now. The TV went to Standby mode and didn't switch on couple of weeks ago. Samsung Customer care sent the service personnel and confirmed that TV require panel replacement.
I am shocked hearing the panel failure in my TV  and requested for new TV replacement but Samsung agreed to replace the panel free of cost since it is under warrantly but not TV replacement
Now, I need your guidance to know
1. What should I need to check during panel replacement to ensure that TV will be back in good condition?
2. Are there any ways to check whether the panel being replaced is new or used?
3. I have seen few posting in this site on internal cracks in plasma tv panel. Are there any ways to check such defects?
Highly appreciate your responses.
