For the remote battery issue-You can use an android mobile with Samy remote apps to control. Alkaline batteries (like Duracell) also last longer. So combination of mobile and alkaline can help you in minimising the battery issue.

64F8500 is a giant of a TV and I think is the best Plasma ever been sold in India.

Interesting thing about audire is, the owner is probably the only person in india to acquire every possible HT certification.

Tried with Audire and Bass and Treble. They are selling SVS on MRP. No negotiations are allowed!!! Buy it or leave it scenario. I think Henry Ford (ford car company) or congress party has enjoyed that kind of monopoly but days are over for both.. I have hardearned money and cant spend it just like that.

Getting certifications does not entitled anyone to sell products on whatever price he decide. The retail MRP of SVS PB2000 is USD 800. I agree there is cost involved in importing the same but customers deserve some respect if they ask for some discount.

Anyway, I will not buy SVS now as its unorganised segment and you have to send it to Coimbatore (from Dilli) in case there is a technical problem occurs. What if, tomorrow Audire decided not to purchase or offer service on this product range.

Going for Velodyne EQ Max 12. After much reading and consultation I found that, technically anything offering a continuous RMS of 225 RMS power is OK for a home theatre. Tannoy revolution series is complete in sound.

Velodyne EQ MAX 12 is good to have. Everyone in my house notices a change in sound when this box is on. My wife said sound is too good. I have placed my system in living room which has windows to front garden and they started shaking. Have to fix the window glasses with Silicon. Thank God its down firing.

Congrats Vinod on your new home theatre. I was given a quote by an audio specialist in kochi for the exact same configuration you purchased which I found very much on the higher side. Thinking of buying it from Delhi but the problem is installation and service. Do these tannoy speakers come with India specific warranty? How much did u pay for the velodyne eqmax 12?

Hi, I don't think configuration or installation will be a issue. We all are tech savvy and connect the wires to amp and speakers. Its as simple as putting batteries in a remote. Tannoy has official presence in India and that's the beauty. I paid 45K for EQ Max 12 (Without Bill). Electronic items perform best in the warranty time frame, they start giving problems when the warranty is over.

Sound lounge is a great showroom that's where I auditioned Tannoy's for the first time it was amazing experience.

If I ever buy Tannoy for myself it'll be Sound Lounge most definitely
