Hi everyone,
To diagnose the issue, I used a Pure white screen background, which is a great tool for identifying display problems. It clearly showed the extent of the issue, and I highly recommend it for troubleshooting similar problems.
I have had this Roku Hisense Smart TV for a little over a year now. There is no physical damage, no drops, bumps, or water exposure. About a month ago, I'm turned it on, and black and white lines appeared on the screen.
At the time, turning the TV off and on did not help, but unplugging it from the wall for 10 seconds resolved the issue. The TV worked fine until today when the same thing happened. A quick power reset fixed it again, and it’s now working fine.
I still hear audio (like the Roku menu sounds) even when the white lines appear, so it does not seem like a complete system failure. I also have the setting enabled for the TV to wake quickly from sleep using Alexa or the Roku app.
Any idea why this might be happening? Should I be concerned?
