Hi
My Rotel amp has a pre- out connection to which I have connected an active sub- Whafedale D10. My question is -will the amp send all frequencies to the bookshelf speakers or will it send only higher frequencies to the book shelf speakers depending upon the cross over settings on the subwoofer. Eg if the crossover is set on the sub to 80hz, will the book shelf speakers get signals of only > 80 hz or will they keep getting the full spectrum of frequencies ?
I am currently managing this through a miniDSP 2X4 HD just for the cross over but if the amp can do the same, I can remove it from the chain.
Thanks
