I got my ReadyNAS NV+ up and running and am tranferring all of my conent into the 2TB drive that I have installed into it for the time being. The plan is to use the upgraded 4 Bay NAS to 3 TB X 4 HDD eventually-once HDD prices fall to affordable levels! I will in the short run plug in an external 3TB USB 3.0 drive into it to give me 5 TB of storage.
My older ReadyNAS Duo will be offered for sale here shortly, diskless, since the 2TB which was in it has been shifted to the new unit. I will post photos of both units in the appropriate section when I am ready, maybe in the course of this week, since the data transfer is a bit time consuming and other things are also going on in the background.
My personal experience with these products is that they are a bit pricey but have outstanding features. It has worked well( and should in the upgraded version) for both SB for wirelessly streaming audio as well as video using ethernet to my Popcorn Hour for HT use.
