Recommendations for a Dedicated HT Room

Which power amp do you suggest ? Considering the 3050i can handle 165W of power.
I was thinking of a 5 channel amp, mainly Parasound Halo but then got concerned its a overkill and might blow up the speakers due to extra power ?

If u have budget definitely u can think of Parasound Halo ,But based on my experience all power amp will not sound same.Each has some sound signature. U may need to do some research which suits ur speakers.( IMO u can do this slowly and patiently ,once all other has been set).There are various brands power amps available like Emotiva ,Adcom,Krell,Anthem,Arcam,ATI ,Rotel ,Outlaw ,Monoprice ,Lexicon etc.,
I'm currently using ATI & Adcom power amps and they are very solid and have warm sound signature. U can slowly do some research and decide it.
