Over-specify a step-down transformer by 4 ( to 10 ) times. Find a large used commercial unit.

Audio equipment sounds better with 120 VAC floating internally, rather than 230 VAC fields internally interacting.

Still no one can solve the mismatch of frequency. Most of the world are on 50Hz.
