Replacement for 50' Sony Bravia RP TV

have switched on upgrade mode replaced my old workhorse yamaha RX v1300 with Denon 3311 came along Samsung 3D BD player as sidekick, now planning to replace my 4 year old 50' Sony RP tv with 60" plasma tv.

Have shortlisted following 60' models (not in the order of preference)

LG PK550
LG PK950
Pana --- not sure of any model which is available in Mumbai.

Wanted to know any feedback and advise on a.m. models from fellow members

Raj, rather than going for LG would recommend to go for samsung 58" or 63" models as they are much ahead in terms of features & PQ than LG. I myself wanted to buy a big set and had surveyed and auditioned a few.

Rest audition the sets and then take your call.

Dushie, problem is - not many dealers have these sizes plasma screens on the display, been to Mulund, Belapur Chroma and Vijay sales in Thane (Mumbai).

I agree with you on the same, but you would need to make a couple of calls and go to the dealers that have the particular set and then audition the same. Also you would need to order and if lucky they may have it in stock. They took one week to deliver my set as they had to ship it from Chennai to Bangalore. But it was worth the wait.
