Sure, a lot depends upon usage pattern and personal choiceI recently had a sony es390 professionally installed at a cousin's place. No offense to the sony sxrd owners but what I noticed beyond the initial wow factor was the film grain and sparkliness of the picture was a turn off for me. It may be good for occasional movie watching but if I have to use it like a regular tv like 3-4 hours a day like my benq it would cause me too much eyestrain.

LCOS "Sparkle"
I have a Sony VW 40, I think I am seeing what people have called LCOS Sparkle. I kind of find it distracting, anyone else experience this. Solid light colors seem shimmery and sparkly at times. Very odd. Keithwww.avsforum.com

BenQ W1700 served me well for almost 3 and half years but all the time I noticed the lack of punchiness and crispiness. Though for longer binge watching I never had eye strain.
Yes in may main Room it produced 130 inch of screen from 18 feet distance.
The PQ comparatively looks better in smaller Room with less than 100 inch projection though.
