Dear Frnds,

I have a requirement where I would be taking the speaker out put which is stereo and then I need to connect to my subwoofer which has only sub line level input.

Is there any converter available , its a active subwoofer has only one line level input, and I have NAD amplifier which does not have sub out but has stereo speaker level out.. please help finding a solution

Regards,
San

Take the signal from your line level input and feed it into your sub, that will do the trick. The line level input is not amplified. You may need an RCA splitter to do this it's available at MX for under Rs 100.

Connect a resistor divider at the speaker output and take the reduced voltage to the sub input. If you use low value resistors you probably don't even need a shielded wire to carry the signal to the sub amp. Resistors will cost you less than Rs5/- plus your cable.....plus your time.

But you dont get any device out in the market to get that functionality, even every floor stander has inbuilt crossover circuits that should work right,

just a thought, If i am unable to get that equipment.
